The San Antonio Spurs bounced back with a vengeance, demolishing the Minnesota Timberwolves, 133-95, in Game 2 of their Western Conference semifinal series on Thursday (PH time) in San Antonio.
San Antonio wasted no time asserting control, exploding out of the gates and building a commanding 59-35 lead by halftime.

Victor Wembanyama bounced back from a quiet Game 1 performance by scoring 14 points in the first half alone — already surpassing his total output from the series opener. The French phenom finished with 19 points and 15 rebounds despite playing just 25 minutes before exiting early in the fourth.
The Spurs never let up, stretching the lead to as many as 47 points in a dominant all-around showing.

Stephon Castle led San Antonio with 21 points, four rebounds, and four assists, while six other Spurs players scored in double figures to fuel the balanced attack.
With the victory, the Spurs level the series after dropping Game 1 at home. The matchup now shifts to Minnesota for Game 3, where San Antonio will try to reclaim home-court advantage.
