Barangay Ginebra extended its winning streak to five games on Sunday, beating Titan Ultra, 119-107, in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) 50 Commissioner's Cup at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

 

Justin Brownlee had 35 points and nine rebounds, and RJ Abarrientos had 25 points as the Gin Kings clinched a quarterfinal berth with a victory over the Giant Risers.

 

Scottie Thompson had 12 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, and Troy Rosario had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Gin Kings.

 

Brownlee started like a house on fire by scoring 10 points in the first quarter to take a 22-16 lead.

 

Brownlee and Abarrientos had 10 points apiece in the second quarter to help Barangay Ginebra to stay in front. The Gins later led by as many as 16 points, 83-67.

 

Titan Ultra fell to 2-7.
