Buoyed by the roaring Creamline-dominated crowd, the Cool Smashers stood tall even facing a 7-9 deficit in the fifth set, unleashing a 6-1 run to take a 13-10 lead with Pangs Panaga blocking Vanie Gandler, who bounced back right away and halted the run.
Tots Carlos sent Creamline to championship point, 14-11, and nailed the winning block on Gandler.
After being dethroned by Petro Gazz last year, the Cool Smashers returned with a complete lineup, highlighted by the comeback of Jema Galanza, Jia De Guzman and Bernadeth Pons.

Despite a difficult road to the finals — including two losses to Cignal that sent Cignal do-or-die games in both the play-in and semifinals — Creamline showed its championship pedigree in the title series.
The Cool Smashers claimed their seventh All-Filipino title and extended their dominance with nine straight finals appearances in the conference.

Cignal, meanwhile, fell short of a breakthrough title, settling for its third silver medal finish and second finals loss to Creamline after the 2024 Invitational Conference.
