The Detroit Pistons defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 113-108, on Friday morning (PH time) at Little Caesars Arena.
Minnesota made a late push, trimming the deficit to three with 17 seconds remaining after an Ayo Dosunmu layup.
However, Detroit responded by knocking down a pair of free throws to keep the game out of reach.

Daniss Jenkins led the way with 26 points and eight assists. Jalen Duren added 22 points and 14 rebounds in a strong double-double effort.

With the win, the Pistons improved to 56-21, maintaining their hold on the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Detroit will look to extend its streak to three games when it faces the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
