The Philadelphia 76ers may finally see the return of Paul George, who has been upgraded to questionable ahead of their matchup with his former team Los Angeles Clippers. It is a strong indication that his season debut could be imminent.
George has been practicing with the Sixers since October as he continues his recovery from arthroscopic surgery on his left leg, which he underwent in July. Now fully involved in team workouts, the 35-year-old appears to be in the final stages of his rehab.
The nine-time All-Star joined Philadelphia in 2024 after departing the Clippers in free agency. He was limited to just 41 games last season before suffering the injury.
With Kelly Oubre Jr. out due to an LCL strain and Joel Embiid sitting for load management, George’s return would provide a timely lift for a Sixers squad dealing with depth issues at 7–5, sixth in the Eastern Conference.
