Justin Brownlee is a PBA champion once more. Barangay Ginebra's beloved import stepped up in Game 7 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals, scoring 30 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and issuing 5 assists in the Gin Kings' 88-76 win over the TNT Tropang 5G on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Brownlee's series-clinching performance ended a spectacular three-game stretch which will go down in PBA history as one of the league's best.
He scored a career-high 54 points in Game 5 before dropping 52 markers in Game 6. He failed to reach the 50-point plateau in Game 7, but his 30-point outing was more than enough to lead Ginebra back to the promised land.
