The San Antonio Spurs got off to a scorching start in Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals, building a commanding 41-22 lead over the New York Knicks after the first quarter of their championship showdown on Thursday (PH time) at Madison Square Garden.
The Spurs sizzled from beyond the arc, going 6-for-10 from 3-point range in the first 12 minutes of play. Devin Vassell accounted for half of those baskets, going 3-for-3 from beyond the arc as he finished the first quarter with 12 points.
Victor Wembanyama continued his stellar play on the road in this year's Finals, scoring 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting in the opening quarter.
OG Anunoby led the scoring for New York with 7 points. Mikal Bridges added 5 points for the Knicks, who hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
