TNC announced the release of five players following the conclusion of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 17.
The roster shake-up saw Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, Frediemar “3Mar” Serafico, Dale “Stowm” Vidor, and Lance “LanceCy” Cunanan part ways with the organization.
“Today, we announce the transition of five players to our inactive roster as we move into the next phase of our journey. Thank you for your dedication, passion, and hard work throughout the season,” the organization said last Sunday.
“No matter where the future takes them, these players will always be part of our history. Once a Phoenix, always a Phoenix."
TNC missed the postseason after a disappointing regular-season campaign, finishing last with a 2-12 win-loss record.
Expectations were high for the squad following its third-place finish in the previous season, but it failed to sustain its form throughout the campaign.
With the departures, jungler Justine “Zaida” Palma remains as the lone holdover from the roster.
