The New York Knicks got off to a great start in the Eastern Conference Finals, building a 23-16 lead after the first quarter of Game 1 of their best-of-seven series with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday (PH time) at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks unleashed a 12-0 run to turn an 8-13 deficit to a 20-13 advantage, sending New York fans into a frenzy.
Jalen Brunson led the way for the Knicks, scoring 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting. Mikal Bridges added 6 points for New York.
Donovan Mitchell paced the Cavs' offense with 7 points.
