Nitura brothers unite in Mapua

Mapua University will parade the Nitura brothers as Lance Nitura joins his older brother Cyrus for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 102 men’s basketball tournament later this year.
The 6-foot-2 guard from Cainta previously made a name for himself with University of Perpetual Help System Dalta in the Season 101 juniors’ basketball tournament, averaging 9.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.8 steals for the Junior Altas.
He will now pair up with Cyrus, who helped the Cardinals reach the quarterfinals last year after logging 5.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.1 blocks en route to earning a spot in the All-Defensive Team.
In addition, the Cardinals will also parade a troika of rookies: 5-foot-9 guard Jamal Diaz from University of the East, 6-foot-2 Jaymark Lloren, and 6-foot-3 forward Bonel Sacro.
