The Detroit Pistons headed into the halftime break with a 60-52 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series on Thursday (PH time) at Little Caesars Arena.

Cade Cunningham scored a game-high 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting for the Pistons, who pulled away in the second quarter. Detroit outscored Cleveland 31-25 during that period to build an eight-point advantage at the half.

Tobias Harris added 10 points for the Pistons, who pounced on the Cavs' mistakes. Detroit scored 20 points off Cleveland's turnovers in the first half.

James Harden led the way for Cleveland, scoring 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting. Max Strus delivered some much-needed offense off the bench, scoring 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from deep.

The winner of this contest will take a 3-2 series lead and move to within a victory of a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals.
