Alex Eala may have fallen short in her bid to upset World No. 2 Elena Rybakina at the 2026 Italian Open, but she still ended up taking home large amounts of cash following her loss in the Round of 32 in Rome.
Eala collected €46,080 (around ₱3.28 million) for reaching the third round of the WTA 1000 event in Italy.

The Filipina tennis star can add on to that prize money as she will also compete in the Italian Open women's doubles event alongside Hailey Baptiste.
The duo, who qualified as alternates, will face the second-seeded pair of Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend in the Round of 32.
