Los Angeles Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt has sustained a full dislocation of his right pinky finger in a gruesome injury during Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday (PH time), according to basketball insider Shams Charania.

Vanderbilt picked up the injury with 5:51 remaining in the second quarter when he attempted to block Chet Holmgren's shot. He failed to make contact with the ball, though, striking his hand against the backboard instead which resulted in the dislocation.

Vanderbilt left the game in visible pain, with some OKC players looking away in horror after seeing what happened to his finger. Prior to his exit, Vanderbilt had recorded 2 points and 1 rebound.
