Cade Cunningham entered the record books on Monday (PH time) after he led the Detroit Pistons to a 116-94 victory over the Orlando Magic in Game 7 of their first-round series.
Cunningham became the second-youngest player in NBA history to record at least 30 points and 10 assists in a Game 7, trailing only Luka Dončić in that exclusive list. He punished Orlando in the winner-take-all contest, scoring 32 points and issuing 12 assists in 39 minutes of action.
Cunningham’s towering performance helped the Pistons become just the 15th team in NBA history to overcome a 1-3 deficit in a best-of-seven playoff series.
