The Magic announced on Sunday that they have ruled out the German forward for Game 7 of the first-round series due to a calf injury. He picked up the injury during the third quarter of Game 4 and has missed the previous two games.
It is a huge setback for the Magic, who have struggled with Wagner on the sidelines. Cade Cunningham has come alive for Detroit since Wagner's exit, averaging 38.5 points in Games 5 and 6.

Cunningham struggled when Wagner was his primary defender during the first four games of the series, scoring a total of just 17 points on 6-of-24 shooting, including going 3-of-16 from beyond the arc.
Wagner averaged 16.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.8 steals against Detroit in this series.
