The Orlando Magic inched closer to recording a stunning series upset against the top-seeded Detroit Pistons, building a commanding 60-38 halftime lead in Game 6 of their first-round showdown in the 2026 Eastern Conference Playoffs on Saturday (PH time) at Kia Center.
The Magic pulled away in the second quarter, outscoring the Pistons 35-12 to turn a 25-26 deficit into a 22-point advantage at the half.

Desmond Bane led the way for Orlando, scoring 15 points. He shot 6-for-9 from the field, including 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Paolo Banchero added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists for the Magic, who lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.
Tobias Harris powered Detroit's offense with 10 points. He was the only Piston to score in double figures in the first half. Cade Cunningham struggled with just 8 points on 3-for-9 shooting.
