Twice-to-beat teams Far Eastern University and six-peat-seeking National University try to make quick work of their respective Final Four rivals to set a finals rematch in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 88 men’s volleyball tournament on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The top-seeded Tamaraws take on Ateneo de Manila University in the 11 a.m. curtain-raiser followed by the 1 p.m. clash between the No. 2 ranked Bulldogs and University of Santo Tomas.
FEU topped the elims with a 13-1 card and is coming off a five-game winning streak, including a 29-27, 25-23, 15-25, 25-19 victory over the Blue Eagles last week.

“What’s important for us is to stay on the same page and remain focused on our goal,” Tamaraws coach Eddieson Orcullo said.
Ateneo makes the Final Four for the first time in seven years.
NU seeks a repeat of its 25-22, 20-25, 25-23, 28-26 win over UST in the playoff for the semis incentive last Saturday for an 11th straight finals appearance.
