Rain or Shine suffered a blow after injuries to Felix Lemetti and Jun Roque that will keep them out for an extensive period.

Lemetti has been diagnosed with a partial ACL tear in his left knee, and has been ruled out of the conference.

Roque, meanwhile, will miss the rest of the season due to an ACL tear in his right knee.

Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao confirmed the news that came before the Elasto Painters face NLEX on Wednesday.

“All we can do is maximize our bench depth and trust that the next man up will rise to the occasion,” said Guiao.

Lemetti has been playing a vital role with Rain or Shine after missing a big chunk of last season due to a fractured hand. Lemetti averaged 11.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in the Season 50 Commissioner's Cup.

Roque, a rookie out of Letran, averaged 5.5 points and 2.6 rebounds for Rain or Shine.
