The Philadelphia 76ers entered the halftime break with a 62-54 lead over the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of their first-round series in the 2026 Eastern Conference Playoffs on Wednesday (PH time) at TD Garden.
VJ Edgecombe led the way for Philadelphia, scoring 20 points and grabbing 7 boards. Tyrese Maxey also stepped up in Joel Embiid's absence, dropping 15 points and 6 assists.

Jaylen Brown paced Boston's attack with 15 points, while Jayson Tatum had 12 points in the first two quarters of play.
The 76ers used a second-quarter surge to take control of the contest, outscoring the Celtics 37-26 during that period.
The Celtics currently lead the best-of-seven series 1-0.
