Steph Curry will be on a minutes restriction for the Golden State Warriors’ must-win Play-In Tournament game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday (PH time) at Intuit Dome.
Golden State head coach Steve Kerr revealed in a pre-game media briefing that Curry will play fewer than 40 minutes in the knockout contest. Curry missed 27 consecutive games because of a knee injury before returning this month to play for the Warriors.
Curry isn’t the only one who will have his minutes monitored for the clash against the Clips. Big men Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford also will not exceed 40 minutes in playing time in this win-or-go-home showdown. Porzingis has been nursing a sore back, while Horford is dealing with a calf injury.
