Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury made a rousing ring comeback, outpointing Russia’s Arslanbek Makhmudov on Sunday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
A year removed from the second installment of his epic heavyweight showdown against Oleksandr Usyk, the 37-year-old looked every bit of his competitive self as he put on a dominant showing against his Russian counterpart.

Then after, he called out fellow British heavyweight star Anthony Joshua for a fight.
Fury scored 120-108 in two of the judges after 12 rounds while that other judge had it 119-109 — a masterful performance enough to pique the interest of the fans and pundits alike on the potential mega fight against Joshua.

Fury improved to a 35-2-1 record while Makhmudov slid to a 21-3 slate
Following the long layoff, Fury naturally had to shake off some cobwebs as Makhmudov quickly took advantage, connecting on his left and landing some overhand rights to Fury.
But the complexion of the match easily changed once Fury got his bearings going beginning the third round when he started landing at will.
When Makhmudov tried clinching and closing the distance, he was then greeted by thudding body shots from Fury. That had been the story of the contest until the final bell .
