Luka Dončić is currently in Slovenia, spending time with family while continuing his recovery from a hamstring injury, according to Slovenian outlet Ekipa.
The Los Angeles Lakers star is expected to travel to Madrid in the coming days to begin the second phase of his rehabilitation. Once completed, Dončić will head to Los Angeles to rejoin the team.
Dončić sustained the injury earlier this month against the Oklahoma City Thunder and has already missed four games. He remains sidelined indefinitely due to a left hamstring issue.
Despite the setback, Dončić has been dominant this season, averaging a league-best 33.5 points along with 7.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game.
