DXCN: Dito Naman continues to take shape with the addition of a championship bout scheduled for Sunday, April 12, at Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.
Carlo Cannon is slated to defend the MyPW World Championship against Nigel San Jose in a featured matchup.
In a developing storyline, the contest was sparked by rising tensions involving members of Cannon’s circle.
Following an incident that left his protégé, Willy Wiggum, sidelined by the stable HY/OP, the champion moved quickly to confront those responsible.
His attention turned to San Jose, who played a central role in the altercation.
San Jose agreed to step into the ring, but only if the stakes were raised. The Filipino insisted that the title be placed on the line, a condition that was immediately accepted by Cannon in his pursuit of payback.
Despite the emotional backdrop, the challenger faces a difficult task against a veteran widely regarded for his longevity and credentials.
Cannon, who operates out of Melbourne, Australia, has built a career spanning more than 20 years and is in the midst of a historic reign that has surpassed 1,000 days.
He developed his craft in Canada under the guidance of former WWE star Lance Storm and went on to compete against internationally recognized opponents while collecting championships in multiple promotions.
Beyond competition, Cannon has also contributed to the growth of the sport through coaching.
His Vicious Pursuit Pro Wrestling School has produced several notable athletes, including Buddy Matthews, who later found success in both WWE and AEW.
DXCN: Dito Naman is headlined by a triple threat match as San Jose’s stablemate, Jake De Leon, stakes the DXCN World Championship against Minoru Suzuki and Dabid Ravena.
