Alex Eala will finally make her much-anticipated 2026 clay debut on early Wednesday morning (PH time), facing Julia Grabher in the round of 32 of the Upper Austria Ladies Linz tournament.
Filipino fans will have to stay up late to watch the Quezon City native in action, with Eala’s match against Grabher set to take place at 12 midnight. It isn’t a surprise to see organizers of the Linz Open put Eala’s match during the night session, given her rising popularity on the WTA Tour.
The winner of the Eala vs. Grabher match will face Jelena Ostapenko in the Round of 16.
