The Orlando Magic visited the Dallas Mavericks and, behind a balanced offensive attack and the return of forward Franz Wagner, cruised to a 138‑127 victory, handing Dallas their third straight loss.
Orlando set the tone early, taking a 38‑31 lead after the first quarter. Wendell Carter Jr. dominated the second, scoring 13 points as the Magic extended their halftime lead to 13.
After the break, the offensive showcase continued. Despite a fiery performance from Cooper Flagg, who poured in a career-high 51 points—including 24 in the fourth—Orlando’s balanced scoring proved too much. Six Magic players finished in double figures, with Carter Jr. leading all scorers at 28 points.
The win sets up an April 6 matchup for the Magic at the New Orleans Pelicans, while the Mavericks will host the Los Angeles Lakers the same day.
