The Miami Heat used a strong fourth quarter to pull away from the Cleveland Cavaliers, 120-103, snapping a five-game losing streak while ending Cleveland’s four-game run.
Miami set the tone early, holding the Cavaliers to just 19 first-quarter points as Tyler Herro led the charge. The Heat’s balanced offense pushed the lead to 17 at halftime.
Cleveland responded in the third, fueled by Donovan Mitchell, who scored 13 in the quarter to help erase the deficit and tie the game heading into the fourth.
But Miami regained control late, opening the final period with a decisive 16-5 run while the Cavs went cold offensively.
Eight Heat players scored in double figures, led by Norman Powell with 19 points. Mitchell paced all scorers with 28 points in the loss.
Both teams will meet again in Cleveland on March 28.
