Alex Eala will face a seeded player for the first time in this tournament on Monday evening (PH time) when she takes on Karolina Muchova in the fourth round of the 2026 Miami Open. Game time is set at 11 p.m. for fans in the Philippines with the match set to take place on Grandstand Court at Hard Rock Stadium.

Muchova, who is the No. 13 seed, booked her place in the round of 16 after beating Katie Boulter in straight sets 6-3, 7-5 last Sunday. Eala also reached the second week of the WTA 1000 event after ousting Magda Linette 6-3, 7-6 in the round of 32.

Eala has had problems with Czech opponents in the past, going 0-12 against them on the ITF and WTA Tour. This will be the first-ever meeting between Eala and Muchova.
