The Boston Celtics extended their wining streak to two games on Tuesday (PH time), recording a 120-112 victory over the Phoenix Suns at TD Garden. Jaylen Brown took over down the stretch for the Celtics, who improved their record to 45-23.

Boston unleashed an 8-0 run in the closing stages of the fourth quarter to turn a 108-111 deficit into a 116-111 lead with a minute remaining in the contest. Jayson Tatum made a running layup before Brown scored six consecutive points to turn the tide in the Celtics’ favor.

Brown finished the game with 41 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. He shot 10-for-20 from the field and 19-for-21 from the free-throw line. Derrick White and Tatum also contributed for Boston, each dropping 21 points. Payton Pritchard provided the offense off the bench, scoring 19 points on 6-for-13 shooting.

The Suns wasted an outstanding offensive performance from Devin Booker, who scored 40 points on 15-for-24 shooting. Jalen Green added 21 points and 7 rebounds for the Suns, who fell to 39-29 after the road loss.
