The Golden State Warriors thwarted a spirited comeback attempt by the Washington Wizards, winning 125-117 on Tuesday morning (PH time) at Capital One Arena.

Washington rallied in the fourth quarter, trimming the deficit to just five points after trailing by as many as 21.
However, the Warriors refused to relinquish control.

Kristaps Porzingis scored 12 of his 30 points in the final period to keep Golden State firmly in the driver’s seat.
De’Anthony Melton also delivered a huge performance, finishing with 27 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

With the win, the Warriors snapped a five-game losing streak and improved to 33-35 on the season.
