The Los Angeles Lakers extended their winning streak to five games on Sunday (PH time), recording a thrilling 127-125 overtime victory over the Denver Nuggets at
Crypto.com Arena. Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves starred for the Lakers, who won their season series against the Nuggets 2-1.

Doncic posted a triple-double with 30 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds. He scored the biggest basket of the night, draining the game-winning fadeaway jumper with 0.5 seconds left in overtime to improve the Lakers’ record to 42-25.

Reaves led all scorers with 32 points on 12-for-21 shooting. He produced an incredible play in the closing stages of the fourth quarter, intentionally missing his free throw attempt to get the offensive rebound before sinking the game-tying floater with 1.9 seconds left to force overtime.
Doncic, Reaves, and James helped Los Angeles build a 61-50 lead at the half, accounting for 41 of the Lakers’ points during that period. The Nuggets responded in the third quarter, though, outscoring the Lakers 37-26 to tie the game at 87-87 entering the final period.
The Nuggets built a 109-103 lead in the fourth quarter before the Lakers mounted a late rally to force the extra period. Nikola Jokic also had a triple-double of his own, scoring 24 points, grabbing 16 rebounds, and issuing 14 assists.
