The San Antonio Spurs demolished the Boston Celtics, 125-116, during their cross-conference showdown on Wednesday (PH time) at the Frost Bank Center.

San Antonio carried a modest lead entering the fourth quarter before extending it to double digits, keeping Boston at bay the rest of the way to secure the victory.
The Spurs continued their scorching shooting from beyond the arc, knocking down exactly 20 three-pointers as a team. It marked their second straight game with at least 20 made triples after burying 21 in their previous win against the Houston Rockets.

Victor Wembanyama delivered another masterpiece, finishing with a double-double of 39 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Spurs.
Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown was ejected in the second quarter after receiving back-to-back technical fouls for Boston. Jayson Tatum made his season debut and impressed with 24 points despite playing under a slight minutes restriction.

With the win, San Antonio has now captured 16 of its last 17 games as it continues its red-hot stretch.
