Jimuel Pacquiao is eyeing to atone for his lackluster boxing debut when he takes on Santana Figueroa in a four-round lightweight bout on February 28 at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in New York.
The 24-year-old son of boxing Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao is hoping to finally pick up his first professional win after settling for a draw in his debut against Brendan Lally in November last year.
Pacquiao Jr. hardly looked ready for the bright lights in his first fight, getting easily overwhelmed by the size and aggression of Lally — something that he is raring to correct in his second pro fight.
Figueroa, a 29-year-old pug from Puerto Rico, hasn’t won any matches after dropping his first two fights — the last just last December.
The fight is set to serve as one of the supporting attractions to the featherweight bout between Elijah Pierce and Lorenzo Parra, a fight promoted by MP Promotions.
