Twisted Minds has announced the departure of roamer Stephen “Sensui” Castillo ahead of MPL Philippines Season 17, the organization confirmed on Saturday.
“Sensu1, we will not forget how you dominate the retri battles we've fought together. Thank you for your unwavering efforts in and out of the game. We will see you on the other side,” the team said in a Facebook post.
The 24-year-old former Blacklist International standout spent the last two seasons with the squad, where they finished 5th–6th in both Season 15 and Season 16.
Sensui was part of the original core when the Saudi Arabia-based organization entered MPL PH in Season 15, serving as one of the foundational pieces tasked with helping establish the team’s identity in the league.
By Season 16, he had grown into a more vocal leader within the squad, stepping up following the departure of Jomarie “Escalera” Delos Santos.
With the lineup undergoing changes, Sensui embraced greater responsibility both in shot-calling and in guiding younger teammates through crucial stretches of the season.
As of writing, Twisted Minds has yet to announce Sensui’s replacement
